Cookies ’n Cream Hot Cocoa

Yield: 1 serving; double as needed

2 chocolate sandwich cookies
1 cup whole milk
Optional: Whipped cream and crushed cookies

Remove the filling from the cookies.
Place cookies into a small pot. Pour milk over them. Cook, over medium-low heat, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cookies dissolve. Mix to combine. Whisk the cream back in for additional sweetness.
Top with whipped cream and additional crushed cookies.
